So what makes a Beeswax candle so special?
* Beeswax is 100% natural, non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
* Beeswax candles emit negative ions when burned which help to neutralise and purify the air you breathe.
* Beeswax candles burn about 2-5 times longer other waxes.
 
Both styles of our beeswax candle are made with 100% cotton braided wicks and our wonderful chemical free beeswax straight from the hive.  We have a dainty little skep beeswax candle which stands about 4-5 cm tall or our compact travel tin candles that come in a stylish aluminium tin.
 
Initially we crafted a Citronella beeswax candle in a tin to take camping.  It's a great deterrence for those munching mosquitos and it lives in the glove-box of the car when not in use. We then found it handy for on the deck when entertaining, so expanded with a lovely vanilla scent.

What a minute, there is a use for the beeswax if it dripps from candles?
Oh yes it's quite handy to save some beeswax for a zipper that is sticking, just rub with beeswax. Waxed thread is used by leatherworkers, jewlery makers and other crafters. You could make a beeswax seal for envelopes. Looks great for special occassion invites. Or save it up and when you have enough make a beeswax wrap so you can stop using one-use-plastic wraps.
