Fergo's Farm is owned and operated by a husband and wife team. We farm our bees around the beautiful south eastern part of Queensland. Having a hands on approach allows an intimate relationship with these wonderful creatures plus it provides us with a grounding connection to nature and our mother earth.

Why does my honey become candied?
Candied honey occurs naturally and kinda good as it proves that your honey is high quality and hasn't been pasteurized. (Which damages a lot of the beneficial nutrients) Crystals form due to the separation of natural sugars in the honey. Some raw honeys candy far quicker than others and some do not candy at all. It all depends on the plants the bees gathered their nectar from to make the honey. Honey is recognised as a food that does NOT spoil.
There are SO many health benefits to Raw Honey, tap the stethoscope to read about just a few of them.
If you wish to reverse candied honey back to a smooth liquid, use gentle heat. The bees regulate their hive temperature at 36-38C° so ensure your raw honey isn't heated above that to keep all the natural health benefits of raw honey present.
